Inside each kit there are 25 Mono-Tests packaged in an aluminum bag. Each Mono-Test consists of: 1 test device, 1 nasopharyngeal swab, 1 extraction tube with extraction reagent, 1 dripper, 1 quick use guide.
It is not possible to purchase the single Mono-Test but only the Kit which contains the instructions for use and 25 Mono-Tests packaged in aluminum bags.
- Rapid nasopharyngeal swab
looks for the presence of surface proteins of the virus, also called antigens it then tells us if the infection is in progress at the time of their use - Salivary rapid test
looks for the presence of surface proteins of the virus, also called antigens it then tells us if the infection is in progress at the time of their use - Rapid lancing device serological test
look for any antibodies produced by the immune system in response to infection and can determine if a person has come into contact with the virus in the past. It DOES NOT tell us if the infection is in progress at the time of their use
To date, the rapid nasopharyngeal swab remains the only one to be considered reliable based on the guidelines given by the Ministry of Health.
On the contrary, the oropharyngeal or salivary swab is not considered to meet the minimum performance requirements
The Ministry of Health recommends that the use of rapid antigen tests that have the following minimum requirements of performance:
≥80% sensitivity
≥97% specificity
Absolutely yes
≥96% sensitivity
≥98% specificity
≥98% agreement with Molecular Buffer RT-PCR
It is the percentage of agreement with the molecular buffer RT-PCR which in our case is ≥ 98%
